ABOUT THE GARDEN
The Garden of Unearthly Delights is the largest entertainment precinct within the Adelaide Fringe and, without doubt, the biggest party in Adelaide during the summer festival season.
The Garden has been the heart of the Adelaide Fringe since its inception in 2000. Adelaide has completely embraced The Garden and for many, The Garden of Unearthly Delights IS the Adelaide Fringe. In 2009, The Garden attracted more than 600,000 people over 30 days and nights.
The Garden of Unearthly Delights will present over 1000 ticketed performances in 2010, by 98 performance groups. The Garden will also present a vibrant array of free outdoor performances on The Bandstand including The BankSA Free Concert Series and play host to the Future Music Festival once again.
The Garden’s superb and unusual venues make this precinct unlike any other. Add to this a selection of sideshows from around the world, carnival rides, plus fabulous food and you have an unbeatable one-stop arts festival destination for everyone from kids to the young at heart.
The Garden is independently produced by Strut & Fret Production House and Buxton Walker.
