Corona Theatre

One of the newest venues in The Garden, the Corona Theatre was built during 2012 and 2013 and was inspired by many antique venues. Taking its name from the unique crown shaped roof, the Corona seats 300 people in its beautiful raked wooden seating bank.

Le Cascadeur

Le Cascadeur

Celebrating her 100th birthday in 2009, Le Cascadeur is an Australian owned but European built, antique wooden performance venue. Dutch for ‘The Stunt Man’, Le Cascadeur has a long history travelling the world showcasing breath-taking spectacles and has been a regular feature at De Parade, the Netherland’s iconic touring summer festival.

Studio 7

Another newer addition to The Garden’s ever growing collection of brilliant temporary venues, Studio 7 has played host to a variety of stand-up comedians, high-kicking drag queens and some great story-telling.

The Spare Room

The Spare Room

This unique theatre tent from the 1940s has travelled the world and been home to many rare and unique sideshows, peepshows and magic performances. Exuding romance, this beautiful tent creates an incredible atmosphere for a wide variety of purposes and is The Garden’s most intimate venue.

The Factory

The Factory

Created by Theatergroep WAK, a Dutch theatrical company who create ‘mobile location theatre’, The Factory stands gloriously tall and proud amongst The Garden’s venues. It provides a fantastic tent experience, with its vast and solid walls, floor and roof.

Magic Mirror Spiegeltent

Magic Mirror Spiegeltent

Spiegeltents (meaning ‘Mirror Tent’ in Dutch) are large temporary venues, made from wood, canvas, stained glass and mirrors.  Built during the late 19th Century and early 20th Century, Spiegeltents create wonderfully atmospheric performance and event spaces. The Magic Mirror is one of the finest!

The Vagabond

The Vagabond

This vast touring theatre was inspired by Shakespeare’s Globe with its unique high stage, raked seating and flexible standing or seated lower level. It provides great sight lines whether you’re watching a large scale theatrical production, one of the world’s finest stand-up comedians or rocking out to a great band!

Umbrella Revolution

Umbrella Revolution

This vibrant and charismatic transient performance venue was launched at the 2004 Garden. Since then, the Umbrella Revolution has become a regular feature at the annual Melbourne International Comedy Festival and Adelaide Fringe Festival. This glorious red-roofed, black and white walled big top can be configured to suit a wide variety of performances!
